  3. Explore Alternative Perspectives: Consider different ways of viewing your situation. Don’t settle for the first alternative—push yourself to identify five or more perspectives.
  4. Choose the Most Empowering Perspective: An empowering perspective is one that aligns with your goals and values, and helps you move forward positively. Try on each perspective like a new suit or outfit. Which one feels the best? Which aligns with your goals and values? Choose the most empowering perspective. Then, rethink your current circumstances through the filter of your new perspective.

The Cost of Inaction

If you ignore your mindset, you’ll continue to struggle. Your progress will stall, and you’ll find yourself stuck in the same patterns. You’ll miss out on opportunities, as limiting beliefs cloud your judgment. Over time, this could erode your confidence, damage your relationships, and lead to burnout.

Worst of all, it leads to a life of unfulfilled potential. The gap between where you are and where you could be will only grow wider, leaving you wondering what might have been. Unfulfilled potential leads to pain.
