23 One Sentence High-Performance Strategies

Below are twenty-three of my most critical strategies, lessons, and principles for high-performance.  I’ve compiled them from personal experience, experience in coaching hundreds of high-performers and years of studying personal achievement.

  1. Begin with the end in mind.
  2. Think long, work short.
  3. Motivation is for amateurs.
  4. Leverage your strengths.
  5. 80% is good enough.
  6. Win the day.
  7. Never lose twice.
  8. Treat the cause not the effect.
  9. Problems create opportunity.
  10. Keep narrowing your focus.
  11. Focus on what you can control.
  12. Have a few non-negotiables.
  13. Everything has a benefit and a cost.
  14. Be willing to pay a fair price.
